MY Integrated Body
Where pain is met with listening and movement feels lighter again
This work exists for people who sense their body has been quietly working around pain or restriction for a long time. For many, that pain has become chronic — not always dramatic, but persistent enough to shape how they move, rest, and move through daily life. MY Integrated Body was created to offer a calm, attentive space where that experience is recognised and taken seriously. By slowing things down and paying close attention to how the body is organising itself, the work aims to offer practical support — helping the body find more balance, clearer movement, and a steadier sense of ease that can be carried into everyday life.

'Hiya! I'm May'
My path into bodywork began through my own experience of pain. I grew up in Australia and studied in Perth before building a long career as a legal secretary, working both internationally and here at home for more than 25 years. Over time, I developed repetitive strain in both hands that gradually began to interfere with my work, my sporting pursuits, and my sense of independence. I no longer felt confident relying on the strength of my arms, and despite seeking help through the usual health pathways, I found little relief or lasting change.
In searching for another way forward, I discovered Rolfing® Structural Integration — and it profoundly changed my relationship with my body. Like many people, I arrived at Rolfing after trying everything else. What I experienced went far beyond symptom relief. Through the Ten Series, I rediscovered ease, balance, and a sense of enjoyment in simply walking, moving, and being in my body again.
That experience led me to train as a Certified Rolfer™ and Rolf Movement Practitioner™, completing my studies at the Dr Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, and my final intensive phase with the Brazilian Association of Rolfing in São Paulo. My training reflects a deep belief that structure and movement are inseparable — and that meaningful change happens when we work with both.
Today, my work is grounded in helping people feel more at home in their bodies. Whether you’re managing persistent pain, noticing postural or movement changes, or simply wanting to move with more ease and confidence, my aim is to support your body in finding a more balanced, resilient way forward. I believe that becoming more sensorially aware and connected to your body is not only empowering — it can be quietly life-changing.

My Mission Statement
I do this work because I know how quickly pain can change the way you move through life — shrinking confidence, dulling enjoyment, and pulling you away from the ease you once took for granted. This business exists to support people who sense that something in their body isn’t quite right, even if they can’t yet put it into words, and for those who have lived with pain, tension, or restriction long enough that it has begun to shape how they move, work, rest, and show up in life.
Guided by curiosity, listening, and respect for the body’s own intelligence, my work is about slowing things down and truly listening — to your body, your history, and the patterns that have quietly formed over time. Rather than forcing change, I create space: space for movement to feel lighter, for posture to support rather than strain, and for pain to ease as the body finds a more natural relationship with gravity.
Helping people feel seen, understood, and gently guided back toward lasting ease, awareness, and resilience is why this business exists, and why this work matters to me.
